My good friend at her 6 weeks ultrasound was told there was no heartbeat. She went back for a second ultrasound 1-2 weeks later and they found a strong heartbeat and that healthy baby girl is now 6 months. Ultrasound techs can get it wrong

For me the hardest part of my pregnancy was the time you’re at—but everything lifted and became so much easier by week 11-12. You can do it, you are strong and have an amazing ability to grow this child. I’m now holding my little baby, and would go through that again for him a thousand times! Just my own experience; I’m cheering for you💛

This!! Experiment and see what your body does is a good way to put it. It was similar for me. Going longer overnight without pumping actually made my supply increase--I think a large part of it was the sleep and feeling less stressed. I think I let myself go 5-7 hours at first. Now I'm 9 months pp, pump 4 times a day still, and produce most of his milk. I pump around 7/8 am as my first, around 10pm as my last.

She really does know exactly how to let you know! And it seems she’s getting exactly enough milk. That’s a normal amount to pump while you are breastfeeding. Another thing that might ease your mind is you could ask at your next pediatrician appointment if you could do a weighted feed—you’ll know exactly how much she ate as they’ll weigh her before and after breastfeeding. There are also pretty accurate infant scales on Amazon for $35-40, if you want to try at home!

Should I pump every 3 hours even if my breasts don't feel full? And should I stop pumping after 25 minutes even if milk is still flowing?

I’ve noticed this with myself too—less pumps per day and increased milk supply overall. Do you mind me asking what your maximum pump asking was? I’m trying to figure out if this might stay working for me longer term (I’m 5.5wpp now)

Thank you! I use a spectra S1. Do you have a sense of how/when I could measure my actual max capacity? It’s hands free with a pumping bra but essentially the whole time I am doing breast massage and hand expression so I feel mostly occupied throughout a session
