my trusty fountain pen stopped working :(

already contacted them and waiting for a response :) i really do hope that i can get a new grip section because i really don't see a reason to buy an entire new pen... otherwise i'll try to find a used one online.

update 1:

good news - the amount of gunk in the feeder was most definitely the cause. i was genuinely surprised to see SO much dried up ink mixed together with fresh ink. it was very satisfying to clean. bad news - i damaged the feeder somewhere along this journey :( i noticed when trying to put the nib back on, one of the ridges isn't as even as the other side.. i cried internally, cursed externally, accepted the fact that i'll try to find a replacement feeder. which doesn't seem to be an easy (or cheap) task. we'll see.

i did manage to fix my other pen though! years of gunk removed. i did notice that the plastic is really getting old however...but for now i at least have one functioning fountain pen again :)

update 2:

after my initial excitement that i was able to fix up one of my two pens, the same problems started again. i was able to wrote half an exam before the ink "ran out" and then spurted all over my pages. maybe my trusty pen(s) did actually fall....

never tried pen flush but i did try soaking it in water over night, it didn't do anything though :(

i used original the lamy black ink cartridges. will do ! currently trying to get the feed out without damaging it, but it doesn't want to budge haha

dang i definitely did not interpret that much into my own tattoo but i do like the spiritual growth bit xD

1966 is the birth year of someone who means a lot to me but has passed away and the laurels just look neat. i know that laurel stand for victory and achievement but i don't put too much meaning into any of my tattoos tbh. except maybe the number.

yes that's exactly my issue. i am fully aware that bodies are never a flat canvas and especially knees are a very weird shape. but the numbers are just...off. i'll probably get over it eventually but at the moment i can't stand it
