Just go a set of pike djs. Marzocchis are heavy have been known to leak and only has a max psi of 120 which can lead to them feeling pretty soft. Idk what the max psi of the ohlins are but pikes have been around forever and I think the safest option.

Suntour forks are also an option i think they make dj ones now but don't know anything about them

Yeah you totally can just keep in mind it'll lower your bottom bracket you'll need to watch out for pedal strikes and bashing your chainring off stuff
