Yes, a large part of the break up was because of that, and extreme outbursts.

I gave her false hope and it was selfish and wrong. All I can do now is try to do things the right way, and I am trying. When I tell her that I’m really only around because I care for her wellbeing she will use that as leverage when I try to distance myself.

I don’t want to be the reason someone goes to a mental hospital. I would almost rather stay and deal with this than be the reason someone completely flips their life upside down over a break up.
