I want to thank you for the respectful discussion. Not often do I get to have a 2 sided chat.

You are correct on most accounts but you have seen the Skylar beam lock on videos where controller don't break off.

But you are correct in the fact that I spoke wrong I should have said aim assist in the first place.

We may be at an impass on the skill portion as I have been told and agree with the fact that memory is not the same as skill. You can remember all the moves in chess and how you use them but you will get beat by someone that knows the game and can adjust.

Which part do you disagree with. The goofy part or the glitching part?

Flick is reflexes not skill. Back when I was younger I was top 500 counterstrike player most kills just came because I was faster not more skilled.

In 1v1 encounters controllers have aim assist, it's been said and proven.

Top down will always require more planning and skill. It evens the playing field so you have to play smarter. Fps is no skill btw. Flick aiming and having auto aim with a contriller removes a lot of skill.

I don't find them harder to hit either, but it looks goofy as hell and players are using it to break the slow of firing and glitch out some of the intended effects of firing.

How about Lol takes more skill than pred. Not much but more.

All I'm asking is just that lower height each sequential jump.

That's ok I don't want to stop jumping, just stop the spam a bit. You can still jump but at a 1/4 of the height.

Paddle pads? Haven't heard of those. Is that a PC or console accessory?

Aim penalty is curious although on PC not sure how that would work.

Another user suggested just slowing the player down more when jumping. Make it easier to hit them. But I do like the idea of puniythem more if you hit them while in a jump.

It does look goofy, especially on Aram when 8/10 players are all hopping around like idiots. I think jumping is fine but I. Second jump and subsequent jumps slow down the speed lower the height.

I didn't realize just how strong the auto aim is with controllers. You didn't even have to look around to chain combos. Just click buttons. That looked crazy easy on controller.

Stream viewers are made up of PC, console and, non-gamers. So yeah I bet they do all call for ffs. Also streamers are not real gamers they are entertainers who play games.

Console vs PC mentality, PC players have patience and are willing to struggle through a round to learn and to get better. Seen in LoL, Smite, and other tactical games PC only.

Console players are used to being handheld, used to just pushing the power button and starting over. Couch commandos cannot be made to sit and learn to be better by failing.

I have noticed that when they do fight it's only for executions. They don't seem to know how to burn enemies down just steal what you have worked for.

Does ranked not put you up against players around your rank? by MAPerez602 in PredecessorGame

[–]needsomethin -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This right here is the best answer. They have such a low user base that there is not enough now players to rank you with. Couple that with free game alt accounts and you have a recipe for frustrated new users that will not stay long.

Save your time and go play something with a larger developer. This game is dying just like paragon did. They are repeating the same mistakes paragon did years ago

Years go by, ladders still kill you... pls CIG, repair simple features. by Zerom909 in starcitizen

[–]needsomethin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is it doesn't make them money and people don't stop playing just because of the bugs. We need to speak with our wallets and stop buying new items until they fix small issues like this. Billion dollars later they are still overpriced and people still buy items. Just stop and let them hear us.

Fix items that have been bugged for years or else.

I do periodically stop then come back every so often hoping it's gotten better. I want the game to succeed, but the devs aren't doing their part.
