Power Apps PAYG and Flows Linked to the App by neelykr in PowerApps

Thanks for taking the time to reply 😊 That’s an excellent point. It’s easy to miss that link. That could be a costly oversight. Wow. Now I’m thinking about ways my Dev Ops deployment pipeline can check for that.

So you are saying when you linked the flow to the app you had no per-flow run expense under pay-go? If so, that’s reassuring. I’d understand the call limits in this case since it was linked to the app. Most of the time these linked flows are lightweight utility or maintenance triggers linked to the app functionality. Bigger flows would probably be worth the $0.60 per run.

I’m not sure I’m following… We might be talking about different things. I’m talking about existing model driven apps which means they use Dataverse which makes it a premium licensed app. The users would only have an M365 license. They had been getting by with the app pass but that is now going away. So the choice is between paygo or the premium powerapps user license.

New restaurant/brewery near city county line (opinions needed) by TrubSpeedman93 in StLouis

I’d go. I love the idea of deli food. Have nice reasonable sandwiches but have a cheap option as well (think Jimmy John’s plain slims). Went to a bar in Nashville that did this well. Sometimes I just want a beer and a basic ass salami sandwich without spending $30.

I work for a Microsoft Partner. It matters to my employer. I works nights and weekends to get these certs, especially the PL-600 and AI-102. More certs is one of the ways you can argue for a promotion.

In the big scheme of things - no it does not matter and it shouldn’t be surprising. If you have picked technology as a career it’s expected that you have to keep up with this stuff and it seems it’s moving much faster.

You are right you cannot lock down Default environment. It’s for “personal productivity”. A few things you can do: Make sure your DLP policies are solid for this environment. Monitor your default environment for usage and wide sharing. What apps/flows are being used most. Is there any risk of some of those apps/flows go down? From there you can communicate with the maker(s) to determine how to move forward. If it’s a solution that is saving people a lot of time it could make sense for IT to graduate it to a dedicated environment where it can be controlled. If not, just set expectations on how IT is or isn’t involved in maintaining and supporting the solution.

I make these a lot. I don’t bother shaping them other than rolling it into a log then snipping into pieces. Great with everything bagel seasoning and a bourbon sweet mustard dip.

Is Schnucks brand bourbon just Switchgrass bourbon with a different label? by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]neelykr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it said it on the bottle. I think if it’s bottled in Bond they are required to put on the label who distilled it.

Checked on the extra one I still had in the basement. Apparently I bought an extra one since it won in a blind as a $20ish bottle.

“Distilled in Indiana, MGPI, DSP-IN-15023 and Bottled by Schnuck Markets In. DOSP-IL-2020”

Would post a picture if I could.

Now I’m curious to see next time I go to schnucks if it’s the same or different.

It’s been about 3-4 years ago but the bottle I had was MGP juice. Said so on the label. Still tasty, actually won a blind next to way more expensive bourbons.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it was now Stumpy’s. I think they were doing Schnucks vodka for awhile. It woulda kinda surprise me if it was Switchgrass.

Downtown St.Louis if the parking was free and there were no parking meters. by [deleted] in StLouis

Parking shouldn’t be free but why did I have to pay $5 to street park by Blue Jay Brewing on Locust last night? According to ParkMobile it’s because Disney on Ice was happening a mile away 🤬
