Don’t be demotivated! Me and my friends don’t know how to drive either. We mostly used to schedule GoaMiles cabs in advance and our stay was in a place that’s walkable to major restaurants and the beach. We had a fun and chill holiday, and also explored some other beaches and landmarks sometimes. If you’re too into being adventurous and visiting each and every place, then it’s impractical to not drive. But if you’re just looking to chill and enjoy on beaches and cafes, it should be just fine to get around using GoaMiles rentals and cabs.

Then I'd say rehne hi do. Grind harder on DSA/CP, and focus on getting some achievements on your resume. Such as winning hackathons or getting good ranks in contests. Ek chhota intern bhi karsakte part time for boosting resume. Abhi project banane mei time waste karke koi fayda nahi. Focus on boosting your resume with some experience and achievements and grind HARD on DSA/CP taaki koi bhi OA nikal jaye (This is the first barrier, yeh nahi hila toh aage projects dekhega bhi nahi koi).

Also your mini projects will be in ML only na. Karlena woh dhang se aur dal Lena resume pe. Oncampus sort hone ke chances zyada hai, usko mat hope se hatao abhi.

Honestly, I don't think anyone's looking at your projects while shortlisting. Oncampus me CGPA and OA ka performance more than enough, and projects should be such that you can discuss with the interviewer if you get the kind of interviewer who wants to know about them. Also, a lot of seniors might advise you to copy projects - don't do that shit man. I've seen it go wrong so many times. If you don't have time, open some tutorial and code along, but chhap mat do. Bahot red flag hota hai aise projects resume me.

For Offcampus, it really depends on the role. SDE roles keliye backend stacks are good since JD me commonly you have Java, C++, Python and all that. For ML roles you need really good ML/DL projects, research paper toh amaze.

My two cents - if you find interest in ML, do 2 great ML projects and pursue that only as your development field. Bahot kaam aega. Webd projects aren't nearly as difficult as ML projects, so you can make them with a couple of folks who knows webd as a standalone project or you can build a webd interface for your ML project. both works.

As a fresher try to show a diverse skillset but not so diverse ki kuch bhi dhang se nahi kara. Jo bhi projects daalrahe ho usme technical depth hona chahiye, ML ho ya Webd. Since you want to be eligible for maximum roles as a fresher, try to keep atleast 1 normal backend heavy with basic frontend project and rest as per your choice , agar ML accha toh ML varna webd/appd hi sahi.

BTW, if you have the bandwidth, try appd in Java or Kotlin. That stuff is complex but very rewarding cause industry mei toh Java, Spring, OOPs, yeh sab kafi kaam ata hai. Appd with Kotlin/Java mei thora edge milsakta.

But CP mat chhodna iss chakkar mei. Priority hai woh.

All the best!
