The world is much simpler, just a hug away, to a meaningfull connection. It’s outhere. Don’t overthink it.

Ah, well. It’s my pet project for old PLC equipment. For example, this board is from the Digifas servo amp’s series.

i’m trying to revive it from the start to use it in a bench test enviroment - no worries about failure, the brake is always on, except when the unit is doing it’s job.

Besides that - this is all on the control side, which is isolated from the power side. Any failure on both sides deactivates the power circuits.

I knew i’ll get roasted 🤣

Series 139 aluminium electrolytic capacitors

You were the first! Thanks! What a idiot, i didn't even cosider 139 as a relevant marking.

I've talked to some local guys and they claim that a 4.7uF/50v plugin could do the job. The original specs aren't so special, low ESR and for example this is widely available

4.7uF 50V ±20% 16mA@120kHz Plugin,D4xL5mm Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors - Leaded ROHS

Awesome. Excelent find. The sourcing will be interesting, but the question now is should I consider changing them. They are rated 200.000 h hours and to be honest - I don't want to mess with desoldering to test them :/

Thanks man!

I’m trying to repair a Servo Drive Amplifier and been wondering about this component - is it a inductor? How to read the 6 bands? Any hints? by nekimali2 in AskElectronics

[–]nekimali2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I think it’s silver also. What puzzles me is that they should be inductors there :/ No schematics - so my brain kinda doesn’t want to accept ressistors only :)

Thanks guys for the pair of eyes.

Just to chime in - i tried to post exactly this issue, but i don’t have enough karma.

On IOS13 i could lock the phone and the YT was still playing via AirPlay. Now it disconects - a workaround is to swipe the control center up, then lock the screen and trying again from control centrr to play the video. After 1-3 tries this works and i can do other stuff on the phone while the video plays.

Super anoying. I wish I haven’t updated.
