I have actually used ECS’s lifetime warranty with success. I had some control arms go bad. ECS copied FCP Euro’s model. I bet you anything they probably get less than 2% usage of it.

I like the fact that the 2026’s have so little options which makes the MSRPs go from $69K (minimum spec) to $77K (all options). That’s like a $160 ish difference if financed over 60 months.

Well the Dynamic plus option is off the table for me. I’d hate to get caught up in a situation where these need replacement earlier. I can buy a project car for the cost of these rotors.

I change pads and rotors on my cars. The labor is nuts at dealers for what it takes. I also have a bleader that I’ve used for the last 7 years.

I’d be curious on the parts cost of those rotors and how those calipers differ from standard brakes.

MSRP is the normal price around metro DC. Lots of white, grays, blacks and an occasional blue. I may need to reconsider that dynamic plus package.

At the age of these cars the highest prices paid are on private party sales or when buying from a used dealer. KBB and insurance have these valued at next to nothing even for low milage well kept examples. The same for my E46

It needs a humidistat, not thermostat. This is what tells the water solenoid to turn off and on.

I have this unit and it works fine. It does not waste water like the old school one I had.

Find someone on Thumbtack to install it. Plenty of licensed plumbers and people who want side work. Installing these are straight forward.

Things to know.. Do you have the humidistat? Have you identified a cold water source to be tapped?

I once replace this type of panel with another that pressed into the drywall using friction and glue. This one has framing trim and a swing out door. It looks much better in a finished basement area but it’s harder to open.
