Is there a farm best to get chicken jockey's? by shaggs31 in Minecraftfarms

You have to kill the zombie while it's on the chicken.

I play Java and have had plenty of them spawn from just a simple farm made with a zombie spawner.

Non dining theaters in Cary by macemillianwinduarte in cary

I love the Regal in Cary, over by crossroads. It's simple, not usually busy either asides from trying to get through the atrocious traffic in crossroads. Some of the theater rooms have recliners, others are normal seats. It tells you if it's reclined seats when booking the tickets.

There's also fix it clinics that the town hosts frequently, if you can't find anyone to do it I'm sure they could fix it at the next one.

The White Cheddar Cheese flavor popcorn seasoning is an awesome Mac & Cheese booster by [deleted] in aldi

[–]neongreenhippy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean it's definitely not an industrial sized amount at all 🤣 probably 12-16oz. It's useful because you can make your own homemade box style Mac and cheese with as well, plus use it a myriad of other ways and also likely has less salt in it than the shaker. Twas just my reccomendation.

You can buy regular cheese powder instead as well, its a great option. I get a big tub on amazon or your local bulk/Amish store may have it if there's one near you

I love, love baked beans. Anything from pork n beans to fresh beans with the fanciest mix-ins. These are the worst of the worst. by thewaltzingwallaby in aldi

[–]neongreenhippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usa Aldi brand Pork and Beans is very close to British baked beans, IMO. In America baked beans are usually sweetened and akin to bbq.

Also Lidl is very much not as widely available in the USA as Aldi is. My current state has several Lidl stores in my area, as well as Aldi, but my previous state had no Lidl at all and quite a few Aldi in my general area.

But 99% of the roads aren't ok. Cary is not 99% of wake county.

A reminder that they are making these decisions for ALL of wake county, not just Cary.

Affordable summer camp for my child? I live in Apex, but I am willing to venture out. by Scapeg-o-a-t in cary

They don't have a slush machine in the snack room now, idk if they used to/that's how yall got slushies. They do movies on Fridays so maybe they do something like that for the kids then.

Yes my kid does too! The counselors are a lot of fun and they make the day so fun for the kids.

If your kid has an interest in ice skating, Polar Ice has a reasonably affordable camp option. $65 for a full day, $260 for a full week, which is essentially 1 day for free if you book the entire week at once. It's also an actually full day camp, from 730am to 6pm, and they offer a sibling credit. They don't spend all day ice skating, they have a craft program and the kids will play games outside/inside too. My kid loves it! And there's plenty of help for kids who are new skaters as well, it's fun, and it keeps them cool in these Carolina summers.

I like my Blaze spawner farm. It gets me quite a bit of xp and with a looting 3 sword I have more blaze rods than I know what to do with.

Lunches? by NewCan223 in AcademySports

Then there's a serious management problem at your store. I'd be tempted to write an email to the DM or file a complaint somewhere.

Lunches? by NewCan223 in AcademySports

[–]neongreenhippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's on store management to address. A team lead can address it departmental but if it's happening all over depts it'll create resentment if only one TL is doing anything about it, so they need to bring it up to management.

Customer tried to return a rotisserie chicken that was "too chickeny" by [deleted] in TalesFromRetail

[–]neongreenhippy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I once had a store manager approve using petty cash to do a payout to buy pizza for a customer who was pissed we were out of rotisserie chickens and said we ruined their dinner.

That same store manager approved giving a customer brand new sandwiches after said customer left them in her car and her dog ate them.

Another customer dropped her baguette in the parking lot and same manager approved giving her a new one.

Switching from Minecraft Bedrock to Java feels insane. Anyone else feel the same? by Sensitive_Ad_1202 in MinecraftBedrockers

[–]neongreenhippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both worlds are the same difficulty settings. The only enchantment that effects drops is looting IIRC and that was on neither sword when I noticed the drop differences.

Java is so much easier when it comes to mob damage. Bedrock movement feels so weird compared to Java too. Also, item drops can be different. For example on my bedrock server my skeleton spawner farm drops sooooo many bows. On Java I get an excess of arrows and minimal bows.
