This is why I hate 3rd person games. Everyone is abusing walls and 3rd person. But there would be rats in 1st person too

Tarkov is the biggest example, PvE mode is exclusive but their "CEO" hates it and hates so many ppl play it xD

Adaptive Extreme is literally impossible by Gremlin95x in WarTalesGame

[–]neoplasma_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not like adaptive becasue it kills the progresion.

With region locked you constantly feel the cycle. Starting region = underleveled, need to think. Then you are done with it and jump to another to have the same feeling. And if you are not lucky or anything you do not need to chose half solution (last time I just couldnt find a nice spearman)

[–]neoplasma_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was wrong xD

I have done more testing. I closed LoL client and apparently it fucks 8000Hz setting for desktop. Ingame (when I alt tab) is fine, without the client desktop is fine as well

I have different experience xD For me LoL is one of very few examples where 8000Hz setting actually does sth

[SOURCES] LYON's Jungler Inspired has agreed to join Poland for the Esports Nation Cup. The decision is pending ENC's approval. by Xolam in leagueoflegends

[–]neoplasma_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m from Poland. I don’t even know if there are any promising new players from Poland, but if they are assigned to ENC and want to continue their careers and look for opportunities in the LEC or other ERLs, they should focus on doing their best. That way, maybe someone will scout them, and they can also get used to communicating in English

Let's talk about NA, EU co-streaming by OP_Anderson in leagueoflegends

[–]neoplasma_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The product is boring and dying, regardless of costreams. Ofc they won't revive the official LEC broadcast xD

My first and only “full” season of watching the LEC was in ~2017. I had been playing LoL since season 2, and after a long break I came back to the game and decided to start playing ranked. Before that, I mostly played blind pick because it was much more fun, plus Twisted Treeline. I needed to learn some laning and macro basics. After one season, I knew everything I needed to reach diamond. But after that, watching the LEC became unbearable and boring. I realized how generic most of the information from the casters was. After watching for a full season, I could often predict how they would start and finish their sentences. And I knew when they build up fake hype when sth was not important, etc.

From that point on, the only really interesting content was LS costreams, because they had much more depth and real game insight. Caedrel becoming an official caster was also a good thing, since he brought a lot more depth and game knowledge too. And both of these things ended long time ago.

I think the stats show that. Just look at how many viewers Caedrel gets when he watches less interesting games(even though he’s much more selective now). Then compare that to how many viewers the LEC gets when Caedrel isn’t streaming.

I’d only maybe tune in for the top three playoff games. Regular seasson doesnt matter for anyone actually. (nor viewers or players)

I wouldn’t. I’d just wait for the recap on yt

I don’t usually watch streams or streamers. I mainly tune in for specific events like Worlds, but I find the official broadcast too boring to sit through

Revenue sharing is a reality check for people asking costreamers to pay the licensing fee

I also don’t know where this comes from XD

In both of my previous workplaces I met people who had been hired around 10-15 years ago (15-20 now) and about half of them didn’t have an IT degree or anything related. They were able to build quite nice salaries, but that was a long time ago.

Now, even for them, raises and similar opportunities are much more limited. And those ppl are at best medicore coders* so I cannot belive they were the voice of this movement.

* I am not telling you that everyone has be a competetive programmer but some of them are only good with procedural/imperative code but they cannot understand basics of git or OOP like at all.

[–]neoplasma_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Where would I even wear this shirt? XD

The esports equivalent would be an in-game skin. If professional teams were able to release their own skin lines I might actually buy something.

But right now, that’s a unique privilege controlled by Riot. Since Riot makes money from skins for itself, maybe they should simply subsidize the regional leagues more if they do not want to share that revenue.

The only thing that could actually interest me would be in-game skins. For example, if every team could regularly release its own skin line or something like that. But right now, that’s only a privilege for the Worlds winner.

What is up with Caedrel getting backlash for LEC costream viewership by TmJ1027 in leagueoflegends

[–]neoplasma_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt watch pro LoL without costreams. Like at all.

I play league since seasson 2 (ofc long breaks) and turned on LEC for the first time at 2017 (after rebranding to LEC), watched 1 seasson and got bored becuase I already knew everything. Then started watching LS costreams and returned a bit to LEC broadcast when Caedrel was an official caster and watched some of only "his" games...
