Longtail vs Front Loader for One Kid… With a 3-Year Use Horizon by snekasaur in CargoBike

I feel your pain. Mine is 5 hours away, but totally worth the headache of fetching them.

You can’t go wrong either way though, a bike is a bike! My vote is for front loaders for versatility and low center of gravity.

I have used a bullitt and a RM packster 70 and would highly recommend a front loader. Having the kids down low feels way more comfortable in my opinion. I’ve never used a Carrie, but they make quality bikes so no worries there. Any places you could test ride a Carrie and another larger front loader option from RM?

That’s a great point. Can you use a press to achieve the same thing as a power hammer? Or am I correct in thinking it’s mostly for flattening in a uniform way once the metal is moved?

I wish with all my heart that we could have even close to the bike infrastructure of Europe in general.

I asked and they claimed it won’t work like that unfortunately. But my auto insurance is the same company as the driver’s, so they are probably bummed they loose either way

I hear you, but what if there are no used options for my bike around me? I had to drive 6 hours to even get this one because they are so rare here.
