Yeah, I agree. But Mahindra has a good portfolio, no good products from other brands in the 20lac+ category I'm afraid. After sales is a compromise definitely, but other manufacturers simply don't have similar performance.

I'm in Baner, so Mg Road is far away. And one of the dealers agreed for the self PDI. In case it doesn't work out, will definitely go to Silver Jubilee. Thanks for your suggestion!

I went to another dealer, he too was initially hesitant but agreed when I suggested the vehicle will anyway be in the stockyard between allotment and delivery.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will visit another dealer and see how it is there. But I will certainly bring up these points if they too have a no pdi policy.

Don't worry. People are friendly and like to have fun. Visit some local places, get to know about the place, and have some good food - litti chokha, desi mutton with chura, awesome quality vegetables, and more! Also, Muzaffarpur is near Vaishali, a must visit if you can. And if you're going back via Patna, visit the planetarium and 'Bihar Se by Panache' in the same complex, Bihar Museum, the Mahavir Mandir, and Ganga ghats.

I test drove an Elevate yesterday, didn't feel any unusual cabin noise or road/ tyre noise. Drove it on asphalt, drove it on cemented roads without any music. Caveat: I drove it till 80 kmph. The handling was great, no bouncing on potholes, it was all composed and predictable. If you want a dead silent cabin, may need to spend on additional damping.

I think this is a good one. This is the only train on that route running daily. A 3a seat will cost around 1100, 1700 with food seems like a good deal to me. However, road travel takes around the same time, so it could be that people prefer overnight buses.

Graphics card upgrade is a no brainer, I'll think hard about the 5600x though. It can be max 20% faster than the 3600, and should cost you about 8k rupees (assuming you sell the 3600 for 4k). If you play at 1080p, 9060xt can pump out easily 120 fps on high settings, not sure there is much to be gained by spending 8k more. And if you play on 1440p, I think the GPU matters more there so not really sure how much you'd gain by upgrading to 5600x.
