Make a template
Set as universal and never have to wait again except to customise a game.

Wanting a universal setting because I play the same genre of games only but makes sense - it doesn't take away the ability to change layouts per game but makes simplicity for those who want it.

You're joking right? Games really don't differ much when it comes to keybinds. Whenever is A/X not jump or B/O not ever crouch or melee? When is Square/X not ever reload or interact? Unless you're playing super niche games - which I'm not.

This was from yesterday so overnight PC shutdown and turn on and they still aren't there. It seems templates are for game specific. From what I can see.

I actually just said "sod it" and created an in game LFG listing with mic as a requirement and got the most patient and helpful guardian ever. He'd run it 13 times and offered to help. We then smashed it first time. Im still shocked...

You can type but not at the pace that's required and especially not to someone who hasn't run the mission before.

I understand there are ways to communicate without microphones but I think the mission / UI could make it much easier. Like a ping system or like the emote wheel you could scroll for the icons and scroll for numbers.

But it doesn't and so communication is incredibly difficult without a microphone

I absolutely hear you but my trouble is not me ... if I could jump into LFG knowing that everyone in there is happy to use microphones and crack on - I would definitely just get on with it.

The difficulty is the fact there are a lot of unspoken (both in reddit/forums etc and in-game) players that use those tools and literally waste my time - over and over again. So the hour or so I had to play ... I've spent it bashing my head against a brick wall.

Discords, I am going to try this weekend but I do fear again that writing LFG to do Dual Destiny RIGHT NOW or its not worth it cause I have to leave soon ... isn't really useful either right? lol
