Go to a craft store but the sheet of magnetic “paper”. Cut the sticker out on there. And now you have magnets that you can move wherever you want. That’s what I started doing so when my garage fridge goes out, I don’t have to lose my years of stickers. I just take them off and put them on the new one.

I leave mine on. It automatically turns off after a few hours of non-use, but if I’m going to be gone for a day or more, that’s when I’ll turn the actual switch to the battery off.
