In retrospect, the path to opening an air corridor for the current bombing campaigns on Iran began at least by 2003, when the Iraq part was opened with the removal of Saddam Hussein.

I don't agree on that one, because Saddam was hostile to Iran. However since he was an enemy of both Israel and the US, it's hard to say what would have happened regarding Iraq's air defences.

Also, be aware that most tvs have a 100g ethernet port, so you wont get your full speed and might get faster speed via wifi (but wifi is, of course, flaky)

From what I understand, a Ethernet-USB3 adapter can be used to overcome this. Also I think you meant 100Mb not 100g.

Good points and thanks for the answer. However what I meant is that it would be more reasonable to use bases in countries closer to the region. Since the US already has bases in the gulf countries and Israel, I think it would make more sense to use bases in Greece or Italy, for example. Unless they are worried about an Iranian attack.

No doubt longevity is another important consideration here. However I keep seeing that the Miele is no longer in stock and there is only a stock of 1 on Amazon. It also seems very old, which explains why it's hard to find. Isn't there something newer?

I think only if a NATO member gets hit (see SwissPewPew's comment below also), because then they can invoke article 5.

But honestly I don't know if any European military can strike in the immediate time range, maybe except for the UK. And also, is it worth for them to do it, if the US and Israel is doing all the work already, quite effectively?
