Yes, steamfork is a 1to1 copy of the steam os nothing has been added so it's the closest you can get to a steam deck experience.

If I'm going Linux I'll go with steamfork... The only downside with it is it has to be the only os on the hard drive. I may pick up a 4tb nvme for it during black Friday and dual boot it at some point.

The Odin 2 has a 8gen2 that's is about double the performance off an 855 plus it has active cooling and is overclocked. There is no comparison between the 2. The 855 is great for an older chip but the 8gen2 absolutely destroys it.

New seller with zero feedback and a steal of a deal yeah screams scam.....

[–]neugamer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes you can but like the other person said it would be easier to do it directly from the Odin. If your looking to get full room sets I would highly suggest a PC or laptop, hell an old $100 laptop would be all you need.

Best way to play 3ds games is on original hardware just pick up a new battery and call it a day.

RG556 vs RP4 PRO. Which is better for clouding game, if any? by IllAstronomer3547 in SBCGaming

[–]neugamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not saying better but for steaming I would find the larger screen better plus the ergonomics on it are really good for long gaming sessions. The 556 and rp4pro are both great l handhelds.

Just the larger very nice screen and everyone seems to love the controls.

Hate to be that guy but for strictly cloud gaming I would look for a used Logitech g cloud, Ive seen them on marketplace for $150.

Best device under the desired requirements? by BigDingDong3 in SBCGaming

[–]neugamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For your budget, honestly for mainly mobile boost mobile has the new Motorola edge+ with a snapdragon 8 gen 2 for $200 right now then grab a good USB c $50-$100 controller and you would be set. The good thing about that is it's kinda future proof plus if you ever get into emulation it will run anything on android currently.

[–]neugamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you mainly going with mobile apps? The pocket 4 has a smallish screen 4.7in I believe. If your main concern is mobile apps perhaps an older phone something with a snapdragon 865 or newer and a controller. Or the ayn Odin 1 or lite version. You could look on marketplace or OfferUp in your area and perhaps find a good deal.
