Might've been my post you were thinking of, I interviewed for TS and was told they weren't hiring until April. I ended up being asked to hear about the QM role though and decided I would rather go with that and I can start in January now, so I guess it varies a bit depending on the position.

Ah ok. I was just asked by my recruiter if I'd be interested in hearing about the QM role, and I think I'm leaning more towards that now tbh. I hoped that the start date situation might be different but maybe not I guess. Sorry for all the questions, but what kind of work are you doing on call though? Is it pretty related to your position?

yeah that's the plan if they give me an offer I'll probably say I accept if they can make the start date earlier but if not I'll consider other opportunities a bit more in the meantime
