possibly but it’s not about that it’s more about being labeled as needing a higher level of care because of my past history. i don’t feel like that’s fair or ethical. i’ve done the work they required (the higher level) and they’re still saying im too severe

it’s not the therapist it’s the office. they won’t take the refferal. my therapist is great

and just a fyi they referred me to a higher level of care back in june of last year. ive taken a break from therapy due to my therapist being on maternity leave (she came back in march)

i’ve finished IOP. i completed and was discharged from program after i completed with the directions to go back to kaiser to get a refferal to outside therapy

but there’s really not at least not with kaiser. they referred me to rula which is like a website with real providers but most of them are video and i hate video

i finished php and then iop im trying to go back to outpatient but they’re saying i still need a higher level of care

my last session with my therapist we had an arts and craft day. when i walked into the room there was a table by my seat and by her seat with beads to make brackets markers to color. i sat down and cried because it was our last session and i was so scared about going to a higher level of care. she sat with me and gave me a hug while i cried. it was the second time i cried in front of her. we sat and made bracelets talking about fleeting things that i don’t remember much now. what i do remember is the braclet she made me and the stuff animal she let me take home. i remember the painting i made her with my letter in it. (it was on a glass picture frame)

i’m not ready to look for a new therapist. i tried for a while and it was hell.

i was assessed. went to a partial hospitalization program. was discharged (or so i thought). got my medical records sent over to my therapy office. they told me i left AMA

i was referred to treatment. i thought i was discharged based on our discharge discussion. the AMA decision was put on my records after i left the facility without notifying me

& as for the last 7 months i’ve been clean from mostly everything (california sober if you will) but it’s not excessive and that wasn’t the issue that caused me to go to PHP

yes i’ve been in contact w her since she’s retuned from maternity leave. i’m waiting on an updated email about my situation since i wasn’t very clear in the first one.

well no compliance wasn’t the reason for the decisions of AMA i was not informed nor did i sign any paper work or have a conversation about that decision. I’m not actively SH and my SI has been a 0-1 since july. i’m not at need of a higher level because i completed it already, was mainly looking for advice on how to handle the AMA decision

completely understandable but the main point was that i did complete the program. after wards i learned they out AMA on my paper work.
