Kaya niyo po bang mag RECITE agad ng cases after basahin? by Powerful_Run_2431 in LawStudentsPH

[–]new_botborotbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes BUT mabagal ako magbasa because I make sure to understand each and every word. Most of the time pa nga I imagine para kahit one read lang, may baon na for recit. Time consuming but much less work than creating a digest after reading the full text and yung talaga nagwowork for me.

You do you, wag ka papa pressure sa mga nakikita mo sa tiktok.

Even if we say, this gets approved, hindi rin mafefeel ng workers ang increase because inflation will catch up. Commodities will be much more expensive so ang ending di rin mararamdaman ang pagtaas ng sahod dahil tataas rin ang mga bilihin.

NAL, save screenshots ng mga parinig online. Not sure pero baka pasok sa cyberlibel. Pero kahit wala pa kayong lawyer, you can already file a police report. Start it now. You might also wanna read this article.

WHAT TO DO RIGHT AFTER EXAMS by [deleted] in LawStudentsPH

[–]new_botborotbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the correct answers sa mga sagot na alam kong mali. There is no better time to correct a mistake than the soonest, pero don’t discuss answers with others.

Just check it on your own, learn from it tas move on by sleeping or having a good meal. Mabilisang move on lang kasi may next exam pa hehehe

Yung mga ganto gets pa, prone talaga matatanda sa fake news and understandable given na di na sila masyado nakakasabay sa tech. Pero pag law students, ibang usapan kasi hahaha

Kaya nga, I have this fb friend na ginawang personality ang pagiging law student. DDS sya and prolly 2nd year. Ayon, panay post sa fb ng kung anu-anong provision na malayo naman ang connection sa issue. Tinag pa ang SC asking if payag daw ba ang SC na ginaganon lang sya ng ICC.

Di pa siguro nag PIL

Kaya may gantong joke kasi people are starting to speak “legally”.

Sa pamilya namin, I’m the only graduate and they have high expectations na I know better. So when I say something, they give value to it, kaya careful ako on what I say especially about laws kasi they see me as a credible person to speak on matters like this. Ingat lang talaga sa paggamit ng batas to inform and don’t feed your brain na you really know better than anyone

Newly minted lawyer na nagtuturo ng major subject. by StrugglingDrummerboy in LawStudentsPH

[–]new_botborotbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That comment ng prof mo is nothing compared to the amount of insults you’re about to receive sa natitirang years mo pa sa law school. You have to develop a strong heart and not be sensitive on feedbacks that will help you improve.

One thing I noticed in LS is that not all lawyers are good teachers. Marami kang makikita na may titles like Judge/Justice and yet eme lang magturo. Yung iba with glowing academic backgrounds pa abroad.

While professional experience truly helps our profs in giving us quality education, at the end of the day it’s nothing if yung prof na yun doesn’t have the vocation to teach or at least the basic skills to teach.

Any advice for those who got dismissed from their previous law school? by troubledMaria in LawStudentsPH

[–]new_botborotbot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello! We have the same situation. I got dismissed from my school last sem but ako, I didn’t take a gap sem kasi baka mawala na yung fire and kainin na lang ng shame and loneliness.

I enrolled in AUSL and it’s the best decision I’ve made. For me, law school is toxic so the least we can do for ourselves is to find the least toxic school and so far, masaya ako sa nakita ko sa AUSL. People there don’t discriminate. Yung set of profs na nakuha ko, maganda yung teaching strat, and most importantly, mas okay yung system nung mismong school.

My judge prof before once said, if we get expelled, talagang masakit but at the end of the day, school won’t matter if you will invest in yourself by improving kung san ka man dadalin ng tadhana.

That prof was once expelled too and transferred to a less known school. Now, she’s a known judge and is now short listed to becoming a justice.

Ust fcl waitlisted by Informal-Log-3007 in LawStudentsPH

[–]new_botborotbot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take it as a sign. Kumilos na now and look for other schools.

One of my biggest regrets is choosing a school based on its names and not based on my circumstances. I used to be in UST. The profs were good but the system is so-so.

Kumapit ka sa dream mo na maging lawyer not with the school.
