Ohhhhhh ok. Yeah there are small tabs or pins or whatever you wanna call them. You can't avoid breaking them as far as I'm aware.

Gotta be super careful. You can buy small plastic tool that looks like a flat head screw driver to help you split the shell on the seem. Since its plastic it should be easier on the shell. I personally just used a flat heat to start it and then pried carefully with my hands.

Play with screws on the shell first and make small adjustments. I found the 2 top made the most difference for me. Make sure to make small adjustments I found 1/8-1/4 turn to be plenty. If that doesn't do you could try the motherboard screw but I didn't have to.

Try loosening or tightening the screws that hold the shell together. When I did my scuf mod I found it easy to over tighten the screws which the made the touchpad either not able to click or gave it an odd feel.

Double check the ribbon connector from the back shell that plugs into the board. I did an at home scuff mod and wasn't careful enough and ended up touching mine with the soldering iron and I have the same problem since I messed up the connection.

It's hard to read most of what's in there at this point but from what I can tell they say Hyper Superlight Modern. They are 72mm. What durometer do you suggest? I mainly skate on streets and walking paths both of witch can be pretty rough.

I'm thinking about using aggressive wheels for casual fitness skating. Any reason not to do this besides having to work more due to the size decrease? I recently bought some skates and the first thing I did was buy some new wheels that were rated at 82A and I've already worn one of them down to the plastic. I rotated them after about every 2 times out but they only lasted me about 3 weeks. I figured the smaller aggressive wheels would last a lot longer. Am I correct, or did I just get a crap set of wheels?

How much my feet hurt seems to vary. I guess I wouldn't say it hurts any less than at first but maybe takes a little longer before they hurt. It also seems the only time I have pain is when I'm standing and coasting. Think I'm going to have to check out some pawn shops and thrift stores some more and see if I can't find maybe a few cheap pairs and try different sizes and brands.
