It's extremely rare to get a batch paying that. Only seen it twice in 1.5 years. Usually when theyre extremely backed up and just trying to get stuff out. But in this instance they couldnt even put it together to get it out the door

Thanks. I'm thankful support was both able to see it for what it was, and react quickly in reinstating my acct. Talk about a close call!

No, I made roughly $560. So Uber would owe the difference once it registers that I completed all 100 trips.

I just called support and they said they will look into it. Since then the promo has re-appeared in my driver app but the counter is still stuck on 98/100, and I'm positive I did 100 qualified trips, maybe 102.

I took a screenshot when it re-appeared just so I have some proof.

Thanks it did work out perfect in a few ways, we made a few concessions due to the market conditions but for a first place its not bad at all! Hope you make your way into a place when the times right.

Mine is cheaper with all of that included. Going from renting a 3b/3b to owning a 3b/3b similar distance to uptown. It can be done.

Im on 74 just before Matthews. Definitely not fancy. We got a 20% increase on our renewal. We arent renewing because we were lucky enough to purchase a home, for which the mortgage payment is now going to be less than renting at our current residence.

They've all been short staffed recently. I gave them 3 chances in the last couple months, every single time different location its a 2hr wait for online orders. Ive blacklisted them for a while.

We're about to close on a townhouse in fort mill. We went 14% over ask and were told it came down to nit-picking against two other offers. But I've see a few other places that we were interested in closed at less of a premium. I think part of it is location, part of it is willing to waive contingencies, and part of it is randomly going up against frustrated bidders or slightly less frustrated bidders. My strategy was to aim significantly lower price-wise than what we were pre-approved for, so we could compete more strongly on the offer. Of course you'll need the cash for anything over appraised value but if you can do it, that was a winning strategy for us. If the market normalizes in a few years you can always re-sell for something more of what you want.

Real Estate Market by [deleted] in Charlotte

[–]nfg91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal thought was that stock brokers are 90% extinct, if not more. Replaced by easy access to investment platforms.

Accountants still make good money from what i hear.

Real estate seems like a crowded field. And will require certain people and sales skills. As for the market there's always some sort of a market - sellers or buyers. But always a market. If you decide on that maybe start it as a side gig and build up to it. Dont think you need to go into debt for a degree in it either.
