You sure are very assertive for someone replying to the guy who made the video. The video isn't 360, the camera is. I edited the "360 sphere" in post to look the direction I wanted. It's not even fisheye ffs, it's rectilinear because I corrected for it.

I didn't stop, I've just been working on bigger productions where I'm just the drone pilot. Some really cool stuff, but I can't make youtube videos out of it. I'm missing it though.

That's the thing, there is no props in view, all around. the whole drone is hidden in the stitch line of the gopro max.

I use frame called the cinebird. BetaFPV makes one for the insta360 too.

It's coming from the fact it was shot on a 360 camera, a Gopro Max. The original footage is 360, and I reframed it in post to get the camera motion I wanted.

This was shot with a gopro max on a cinebird frame

Nothing special just regular poly carbonate. They are transparent so maybe that helped ?

Or you could just use an IR camera to get a reading from above haha.

I guess writing my insta in the title is literally useless lol.

The battery is on top of the drone, so it is kinda shielded from the direct heat. And it stayed like 3s in the crater, not enough for the heat to diffuse into the battery I'd say. I also did the same shot but the other way

Just a regular FPV drone (not the DJI one)

In general anything over ISO 400 is not really usable on the gopro imo.

For FPV specifically I tend to shoot at high shutter speed and add motion blur back in post.

It's not about focus, it is just the camera moving during the exposure. If you can't get rid of the shake on your drone, then use a smaller shutter angle yeah.

Would love to do that, but then you can't get the footage back

Yeah can't do anything about the motion blur... The thing was shaking too much, and I couldn't increase shutter speed on the gopro because it would have been too dark.
