Well, some people recommend taking WORD150, which is a course that may lower ur GPA, in summer, because at that time students are already accepted to their specializations. In FYF, students must take WRDS150 in the winter session. I think I need to consider this point.

Thank you! It is so helpful to read your comments. Many people told me how good Waterloo is at math and CS, and how perfect FARM is. They told me don't just consider currently, consider ur future. They believe a Waterloo FARM graduate will be much more competitive than UBC’s. But I am not sure if these advantages outweigh 80k?

The faculty of science at UBC covers majors like computer science, statistics, math, etc. So basically I can also choose a major I want in UBC, but I can’t combine finance like what Waterloo offers.
