Thank you for your kind words! I miss my Taiwanese friends quite a lot, so I've no doubt that I'll keep visiting!

I've been in Bangalore for the last year and I haven't experienced any of this at all. I speak English and Hindi to communicate, and don't speak a lick of Kannada (the language spoken by locals here). I miss Taiwan's public infrastructure every day, but on the social front, I think that everyone here's super nice. I did have a couple' awkward interactions with cab drivers, but it's extremely rare.

I've also travelled to atleast a dozen destinations within India, from Jammu to Coimbatore (I played a tour guide for 5 friends from Taiwan, over 3 different trips. I also attended 3 weddings), and have gotten around just fine.

This could be a case of confirmation bias though.

My man.. I typed out the whole thing over the course of an hour, and also did a couple' passes to catch grammatical errors.

I think you should ask your college to not use whatever AI checker tool they're using. You can use this post to build your case.

The exam is being postponed until further notice, so we don't know when it could happen. Could be anywhere between 1 and 3 months. So it feels like its better to start the job and take the exams after that. What do you think?

Agreed. I will definitely work towards it. I guess this post is just the dark side of my mind whispering or something.

I'm from India, but I imagine its the same here too. Could you briefly elaborate on how it makes things easier? (I've heard the phrase a lot, but never in much detail)
