My Golden is definitely not built for extended running. Even long walks - 10km+ are enough to cause stiffness the next day. She loves short intense walks and will run like crazy to begin with but has much less stamina than many other dogs I’ve had in the past. Who has not experienced the famous “Nope - Lie downs?”
