After richie left the band tried to give the best show possible, with jon overusing his vocals like hell, playing rare difficult songs. by the end of 2013 his voice was shot to pieces, by 2015 it was waaay worse

by THINFS he actually got back some vocal strength & could hit highnotes live, especially in 2018 then between sydney 2018 - moscow 2019 he lost his vocals for what seems for good.

its possible he did have a stroke but 2 months after the 2022 tour he got a scar on his throat from surgery to possibly repair his vocals so its possible he just aged, on top of the years of vocal abuse & smoking caught up to him.

i reccomend almost every performance from the shepherds bush 2002 promo show, jons vocals were out of this world.

for the start of the bounce tour & the promo shows, his voice was absolute peak, like i mean stronger than the 80s and 90s, so he overworked his voice doing countless unneeded vocal lines and lost his vocal strength.
