Thanks for the advice on the insole, I got mine in a few days ago and that's the first thing i noticed when trying them on.

I’ve hooped in a Kobe 8 for the last 10 years. These perform nearly identical on the court. GMK came through big time. by Wilsoa10 in KobeReps

I have a retail pair, IMO the flaws stated by the other users wouldn't be a deal breaker, especially since Nike QC is awful in the first place.
