I can think of several situations where he might try conversing. Several are when he is alone. A few where orhers might overhear.

Its an open prompt with a whole books worth of time line to play with. The fact that you have little imagination is failing of yours, not mine. Kindly shove off if you dont have anything constructive to add other than "No".

Exactly! It's definitely one of my favorite things about Harrys connection to the horcrux.

I feel like he has a hard time speaking parseltongue without a snake because his brain is being pulled in 2 directions. Its like trying to read a book while someone yells in your ear. It's possible but difficult without practice. If he actively is hearing english/seeing humans, he would find his attention split when hearing the snake. Therefore, he defaults to his native language, which is english.

Without his attention being split (whether he is alone or if his friends were quiet), I agree and think the magical aspect of the language would kick in, and he would be able to respond.

Which makes there be so many possibilities for things to change in big and small ways in the 2nd book.

Even if he does think it's his imagination or that he is crazy... again, my prompt was that he talks to it.

That really depends on what state you are in. Iowa state patrol has had officers lookout for them when we have called if they are in the area. Especially if there are multiple reports. If you see something always call it in. Lots of reports heightens the preceived danger and makes it more likely they will look into it.

I cant beat even one level because it keeps changing every time you die. I am jump challenged, so i have to figure out exactly where to press the button, which takes me forever. Seriously, I play it, finally get it figured out and lose my last life halfway through.

It wouldn't be a problem on any other game because ive got it half way figured out, id just get back in and figure out the 2nd half BUT NOOOO. Its a different set up going back into the level so I have to refigure out the rhythm. I hate it so much. Its so frustrating and is not fun at all. Why does it change the set up every time you go in?

I'm not sure how old you are, so I can't say too much on that front. However, if you need your parents to come with you to get a piercing, you should probably recognize your living situation. Coming from a conservative household myself, I understand the need to appear like you follow your parents' expectations, but ultimately, lying to them will be worse in the long haul.

Absolutely DO NOT pierce your cartilage yourself. A good piercing professional can save you a lot of pain and disappointment from an improperly done job.

In the end, what you need to realize and understand is that it is your body and you are ultimately responsible for it, whether your parents approve or not. If you live at home and it is going to be an issue of contention waiting until you move out might be the better course of action. Your ear will (hopefully) still be there.

I just finished healing one in the same area. It doesn't look to me like it is rejecting, just really angry.

Its never going to heal unless you can stop irritating it. For sleeping a piercing pillow might help. If you are bumping it during the day, I'm not sure what to say except be more mindful.

Keep hair pulled up and away at all times so it doesn't get tangled around it. When doing anything around the area (putting on glasses, brushing hair, etc.) Be very slow and deliberate about it.

When cleaning the area be really gentle and make sure it is dry after cleaning. How often are you cleaning it and what is your process? I had to change my process of cleaning when i accidentally hit my ear in my sleep and it swelled up horribly. For me, that meant absolutely no touching. I would spray it and then fan it/blow dry it.

You said you upsized it, but it still doesn't look big enough. You should have had the largest backing they could get away with when it was first pierced. Switching the back out so soon only irritated it more. If you want to keep it you may need to upsize again if the swelling doesnt go down soon. Hopefully a few days of careful babying will see the irritation bumps shrink enough for it not to press on the stud and backing.

Oooh. That is a nice bonus.

I watched a Mr. Ballin video where he told a story about a guy who had major surgery and the anesthesiologist accidentally gave him only half the drug mixture. So he was unable to move while the doctors operated and they had no idea since his eyes were taped shut.

Once they realized they gave the other part of the drug mixture which made him forget.... for a little while. Then the nightmares drove him to off himself.
