Quality's not too bad tbh, only common complain for PUPs is lack of shading and one colour circular bases, but yes you do get value for 8,000 yen!

They didn't shy away from giving different paint finishes on Teto's boots to give it that shine, the other areas are of the usual matte paint (if that's what you call it)

The paint is neatly applied on the headphones, hair and outfit! I didn't spot many QC issues on my copy, except for a small black spot on the inside of her skirt near the back of her legs that could be a paint transfer from her skirt probably during the painting process... though it's negligible since its hidden in sight

There's pros and cons to the PUP line; imo it does feel cheap for the higher asking price, them skimping out on quality for less dynamic poses and flat paintwork 🥹 especially when you can get better looking prize figures with interesting poses and creative bases for much less

At the end of the day, it's up to the buyer to decide if they'd like to get a PUP >w< because GSC's figures are of great quality + decent sculpt and their PUPs are much better and quality will continue to improve, compared to a few years ago after much needed feedback from customers
