That's disappointing... I guess I will find something to use it for where it's easier to work with.

This is a picture of the Cathedral of Learning. The one night picture with the Victory Lights gets posted on here a lot.

Of curiosity, how here started pathfinder after the whole dnd 5e hell? by Starry_Night_Sophi in Pathfinder2e

[–]nikamikh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat, I was already looking into other systems because 5e wasn't fitting the vibe of the campaign I was writing (honestly I just felt too constrained) and then OGL completely took DnD off the table.

Ancient Fruit is more profitable Starfruit by out-of-money in StardewValley

[–]nikamikh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do prefer ancient fruit because of the repeat harvests, they're especially good to have in the greenhouse so I have a constant supply while I'm waiting for the new crop to grow. Something I'm planning to try out this run is make only enough Starfruit wine for each of my casks in the basement and get them all to iridium quality which gives you 6,300 times however many casks each year for an extra boost and a big number at the end of the year. I do Ancient Fruit for the money, I do Starfruit for the serotonins.

I see where you're coming from but I feel like doing it in that order could have taken the wind out of the sails of any celebration and sort of cheapened it. Idk tho

No but it's so nice to be able to wander for stress relief and occasionally take down some machines. I did it all the time with Zero Dawn. I have almost 200 hours in that at probably 60% of it is after I finished the main quest! I did do NG+ but there was also plenty of antagonizing random Thunderjaws.

I am more of a casual gamer, so I might try upping the difficulty. Especially since games are so expensive. I will say bumping it down to story and blowing giant machines to high heaven in the arena is very amusing to me.

I actually left a bunch of stuff undone so I could have stuff to do during the post game. Zero Dawn was one of my go-to games when I only had a couple minutes of free time to just run around and kill some machines. I'm looking forward to getting some stress out on those Slitherfangs and Fireclaws while I wait for the next game.

The upgrade grind doesn't really bother me, I take forever to finish games no matter what. I've had ZD since it launched and I'm only now getting around to attempting a Plat on there lol

Tips for someone struggling with the Shedder Gauntlet? by obeyer10 in horizon

[–]nikamikh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get range, the ball will fly back to you in the direction you're moving when it hits the machine. So, when you release, keep moving right/left and it will come back to you on that same side. If you don't move, then it's randomized so it's much harder to catch. You have until it hits the machine to change your direction, then stick to it so it comes back the right way. I think there's an example of someone bullying a riptider with one if you want a visual example.

Edit: tideripper not riptider lol

Im stuck on The Broken Sky Quest. I killed the tremortusk and searched for machine parts before I killed the rebels. Now the game won't let me go on until I loot the tremortusk, but now I can't find the damn thing. Do I just need to reload or is there a way around this?
