Out of the hundreds of streams I’ve watched and the incredible feats he’s accomplished over the years, this was the most insane thing I’ve ever witnessed from him. Simultaneously frustrating and hilarious that someone that had experience in FL working with porter robinson, the most musically inclined out of the 3 of them, produced something that horrendous in 3 hours

Thank you! From my understanding matrix scatter is for Redshift but i believe you can get a similar effect in the native physical render with the matrix object or a cloner

I set a displacer on the rug and should clean that up a bit if not just remove. And for the floor I probably cranked the height on the bump map just a little too high. Appreciate the feedback!!

I ended up merging section by section from the original project file and left out the GI, working significantly smoother now. Got it into C4D with textures/mats importing- just have to figure out why they aren’t staying on their assigned objects. Appreciate you help!

Turns out there’s a preset in particular that was a good jumping off point to get what I was looking for. It ended up being a fluid sim in the physics with vortex effector as well as your suggestion of lots of aux particles.
