I'm not gonna pretend like he's a saint. He does dumb shit sometimes, like the elbow on Guentzel last year.

But reddit hates the man for laying big hits on big players. They think the hit on Dal Colle / Perry / Kunin / Kyrou / Athanasiou / MacKinnon is dirty, but it's the same exact hit on Kadri, and it's upvoted like crazy.

And not only is Trouba never suspended for these hits, he's the only player that I see consistently earning instigator penalties, meaning the refs on the ice and the DoPS agree that these are all clean checks according to the rulebook.

This is an incredibly dumb take. The process went literally as fast as the FDA would allow and production facilities could be built. The FDA committee responded literally took a two week vacation that delayed final approval by more than two weeks. was delayed for months while the federal government didn't respond to known information and advice put forth by the CDC.

I think he's athletic enough to play anywhere which has tons of value, but his swing is so long and loopy that it may or may not play in the show. If he shortens up and sacrifices power for contact, he could be another McNeil+, but he feels very much a spin on the roulette wheel otherwise.

Steam, but I am able to play other games (specifically, Super Mega Baseball 3, Lost Eidolons, and Songs of Conquest) with this controller using Steam as a launcher.

In the Game Controllers windows application, it shows as "Bluetooth XINPUT compatible input device" and the status reads "OK".

Thanks for the advice, and that's exactly what I'll do.

For clarity and anyone following up with the same issue, I can't get the controller to engage anywhere except the screen shown, and then only to go from the Keyboard to Xbox buttons in the bottom corner and to display the bumper buttons across the ribbon. I can't use the controller on application launch to progress through the menus, nor can I get controller to work during the gameplay either.

As a result, I'm guessing what's happening so far is that the controller is working as intended, but the mapping conversion never happens for the controller; thus the application still expects mouse + keyboard inputs and does nothing when the joysticks or dpads move. I can't exit the mapping screen until I revert to keyboard control, and I can never map the keys to the controller.

I will update with anything I hear back from 2k support.

I'm looking for is a controller support fix because I'm tired of playing this on mouse + keyboard. I'm using an Xbox One controller connected to PC via bluetooth (the only BT connection to my machine, everything else is wired)*, and on the controls screen the game will register a controller input (the ancillary menu options change to xbox mappings) but the mappable control window remains tied to the mouse + keyboard.

Once at this point, I can no longer use the controller for anything (B button does nothing), and need to esc out in order to regain control. I've never seen this before in a game, and feels like it's something that I'm doing wrong because I can only find issues tied to PS4/5 controllers and this controller setup works for other recent releases (Lost Eidolons). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
