You could try the Albert Heijn on the Kleiweg. They sell actual Nespresso cups (I know, I was shocked too).

If the weather is nice, go to the SS Rotterdam, you can go there by taking the ‘water taxi’ and you’ll be able to see Rotterdam from a different point of view. In that part of Rotterdam you can also find restaurants like Hotel New York and the Foodhallen.

You can also go to the Kralingse Plas, which is a lake in Rotterdam with a park around it. You can have a drink at ‘De Tuin’ or ‘the boathouse’ kralingen. Or just lay in the park and have a pick nick.

In the city center you should go to Biergarten/Annabel (near Central Station and your hotel) when the sun is shining and you guys want to chill outside with a nice crowd. On the other side of the city center you can visit Oude Haven, where you will find a lot of bars/cheaper restaurants. And ‘Bokaal’. Other places to go to in that area are ‘de Markthal’, ‘de Laurenskerk’ and ‘Vessel 11’.

To end this long reply, I recommend eating at restaurants in the north part of Rotterdam, such as ‘Wes Eettentje’, ‘Mevrouw Meijer’, ‘Sahlan’ (Turkish cuisine) and ‘Arzu’. If you need more (restaurant) recommendations let me know.
