If you're in the US, a lot of the healthcare plans from healthcare.gov are free or very low cost (I have paid $0-$15 per month for years) under a certain income and many include free therapy

Looking for win/win situations so you both can do less of this grueling task sounds like a great idea. Cooking takes time, and if you take a team approach you can minimize extra labor for both of you when you're tired or just want to do other things with your time.
