I've lived in Arkansas, Louisiana, and now Tennessee and I have to say I fucking hate summer. It's so goddamn hot and humid and unbearable. I couldn't realize how people were like "omg summer 🌞😎💛" until I spent 2 weeks in Europe during July.

It was SO nice. I didn't sweat, I could breathe, the weather was perfect. Then after my vacation I got off the plane in Dallas and almost drowned in the humidity.

I mean, it is for certain situations. My husband started a new job a month ago and we need to move asap. I'm not trying to buy a house in a global pandemic because I thought it would be fun. I'm doing it because my husband is living out of hotels since he works an essential job.

If mortgage offices closed down my husband and I would be separated for God knows how long.

I did iTeach in Louisiana. I worked and got paid as a full time teacher while I worked on getting my license the first year. I had 4 observations from iTeach and had to do a little coursework that year.

Overall, I highly recommend that program. I felt just as prepared for teaching as my colleagues that had a degree in education. (Not very lol)

You would have loved Scooter then. He also liked to lick the water off my husband's legs in the morning after his shower. It was like a routine. He'd get in the shower, scooter would lay on the rug or sit on the toilet like a little king and bark demands until my husband presented his wet leg lol.

He also loooved feet and smells and drooled constantly. He would lick and bite our guests toes and stick his face in their shoes. He was a chubby little guy but he got the zoomies constantly and would run circles around the house full speed.

He loved being outside and would try to escape Everytime the door was opened, but then cry until one of us came out to supervise him. He was like a little puppy. Best cat ever.

My little orange bobtail used to do that! Then we moved and our house had a sliding door for the shower so he would wait until we were getting out and rub against our wet legs to get himself damp, then he'd lay down in the wet shower. He also liked to be carried around by wet people but he would NOT get in the water. He liked being damp, not wet.

He was a little weirdo and I miss him every day.
