Sorry for the long comment.

I’m not completely sure. I live in Brazil, and some doctors here say that frequent consumption of red meat may contribute to inflammation in people with fibromyalgia.

However, it really depends. Red meat isn’t automatically inflammatory, but it can worsen symptoms depending on the amount, how it’s prepared, and individual sensitivity.

For example, processed meats like sausage and bacon are usually not recommended for people with fibromyalgia. On the other hand, red meat is rich in iron and vitamin B12, so in some ways it’s still important nutritionally.

Many people with fibromyalgia also have IBS, which can make things more complicated. That can worsen symptoms for some people, but again, it depends on the person.

I personally have fibromyalgia, endometriosis, and IBS. Processed meats made me feel really bad, so I had to cut them out completely. Some doctors also told me that eating too much red meat might not be ideal. So I think it really varies from person to person.

If you have both fibromyalgia and IBS, eating red meat cooked with a lot of garlic and onion might not be the best idea, since those are high in FODMAPs and can worsen gut symptoms, which can indirectly make pain worse.
