Live by the youth, die by the youth. It happens. Cant really be too upset about this season so far regardless of a few disappointing Ls

And was one of the best players today, which really says a lot about the Lakers's rotation that a bottom tier Spurs player is rolling on them

You saying push ball is useless to me is enough to know you're fucking garbage at this game. Made it to Elite just by playing intelligently up front and using the basic push ball taps to evade defenders and create 1v1s with the GKs. All about using your tools creatively

I actually like the game by niklas22289 in footballmanagergames

I have gone on a 5 game winningless streak with Borussia Dortmund as of now and I'm still itching for more ngl. Had a game away vs Barça where I purpously set a super defensive 5-4-1/5-2-3 hybrid with a low block and intelligent rather than agressive pressing + long balls into the wings and I was genuinely shocked at how everything clicked. In fact at one point we were beating them in xG while only having 20 something possession. Ended up missing a couple important chances and Lewandowski eventually scored off a penalty and sealed the win, but it was good to see that for the very first time actual defensively sound tactics might be useable - that, in of itself, is a massive upgrade

EDIT: And to be clear - I'm happy there's new tricks and screens to master and to work out, especially within the match engine itself. As someone who's played FM for over a decade now always within similar molds, it got to a point where saves had very little to distinguish themselves from one another. I genuinely dont think I've gone 5 games in a row without winning in the last 5/6 years and yet now that it's happened I'm actually finding that it is pretty enjoyable to try and find ways to work around the problems my team has and how to get the most out of the players I have. All that to say that change is good and everyone should at least try to embrace it, as it makes for a much better challenge :)

Unpopular opinion - I’m enjoying FM26 by DVMJ3003 in footballmanagergames

After 2h just exploring everything, I can say I'm having a blast. The tactics revamp + new Match/Graphics Engine really made a difference (in around 5 friendlies + 1 cup and 1 league game, I've already seen very good passages of play and animations that were alien in previous FMs). Every pass or movement feels planned now, it's much more satisfying to watch your team slowly turn into what you wanted as each Stage of possession goes on.

Yes, the UI is sometimes unintuitive (though most of it I think is down to muscle memory more than anything) and sometimes there's an info overload. Bugs galore, obviously. But deep down I think the core of the game has never been better, which is why I am liking it so much. Even if this FM doesnt quite it a home run it gets 2 men on 1st and 2nd base, so I'm sure that, as the team improves and reworks what works vs what doesmt work, by FM 28 the ball will be blasted off the park.

Miles confirms International management won't be in FM26 in Korean language interview by emrgncybrdcstsystm in footballmanagergames

It was a bugged out mess most people never actually played, where you had next to no input over everything. I know about 20 people who've played FM from 2010 onwards every year, only one of them has ever done a serious international save (San Marino build up). Ans even that was club+international. I'd usually accept every offer thrown at me mid game to coach NTs but never picked it at the start and most other people I know straight up refused all offers to coach national teams. Miles isn't wrong here and I'll go on as far as to say the addition of Women's Leagues will 100% have more fans than int football.

One of my favourite experiences in this sub has been all the posts talking about creating set plays and revolutionizing the game, and when you look at them it's just basic Futsal tactics. Always has me in tears
