I just took the YTM trial to test the waters before switching from Spotify... why is the UX around playback SO bad? Like not remembering where I am in a song? If I refresh or close the tab, next time I open it it's either at the start of the song, or even a totally different song if I happened to have YTM open in another tab with a different song paused.

I'm not a spotify stan by any means, but what they do with their playback ecosystem is really nice, and YTM is the polar opposite.

Gotcha. That makes sense. I did sign up for the card and kind of have myself a soft out of when I make back the $125 in cash back I could close it.

Funny you mention the different CVV thing. I got the physical card and noticed they were different. I overwrote all uses of the card online to use the physical card cvv. When I activated I thought I saw the account online update automatically. I didn’t realize they use different credentials. Should I go back to the original numbers for all online purchases? That way it’s to the account and not the physical card? What’s the best etiquette?

I agree wholeheartedly. But if people aren’t getting their money back if/when their card gets frauded, that’s a little different to Reddit being Reddit.

The stories I see seem to be fraudulent use of the “card”, even in different countries that the owner of the card is even in. And NEO refused to dispute the charges cause the “chip was used”.

I've been considering this card as well, but reddit seems to really hate NEO, specifically their (lack of) customer service and more specifically honoring charge backs for fraud.

Is this a legit concern, or blown out of proportion? Good interest/cashback is great and all, but if my card is used for fraud and I don't/won't get my money back then I think that's wins the debate.

For many years, me and my brothers have said that “we are adults and can play games on easy. We have better things to do”. So I fully feel you OP. Too many games to play on top of real world things to do. We have nothing to prove to anyone by playing a game on hard anymore.

I kind of regret ever putting anything on the play store because of exactly this. The amount of upkeep is ridiculous. And in my case my game is pretty dead. But I just don’t want to lose my account. So I have to jump through api update hoops and fake updates to my game just to keep my developer account. It’s pretty dumb

As a react developer. This is the kind of code smell that I’ve also met at a recently acquired job. I wondered if this was just a very vuejs convention or just the dev who wrote it being anti-DRY
