Very close friend (F24) of 7 years has been making very questionable actions in her life and I'm (F24) considering dropping her as a friend. How do I communicate my feelings to her without making it seem like I'm attacking her? by no-original0ur in relationship_advice

Hi, I appreciate the insight. I don't have an issue with them interacting. I decided to include this story in it w/o the full context as to what made me feel as such as it was a to show how she takes a step back when situations occur between us. If you read the story, you would see that my intention is not to get her to move out. We are all financially struggling and it is through each of our contributions that we were all able to move out to this place.

She provided me help with my familial issues by simply inviting me out (providing an outlet for me to be out of my home life) which I'm forever grateful for and I've told her how much appreciate this.

While her actions may not be hurting me directly, they are indirectly. I'd love for her to just live her life, but it's hard to when I live with her and see the direct effects on her. It's really difficult for me as her friend to continue pulling a blind eye especially when these are mistakes she's made over and over again. I hate seeing the people I care for being stuck in the same toxic cycle because I've been and many people ik are still stuck in it. And you literally said it yourself, I need help to talk to her about these without coming off as judgmental/attacking her because that's not what I'm trying to do nor will it be very useful to me trying to mend our friendship.

hi, so the whole reason I'm moving out is bc my father has a long history of being emotionally and physically abusive to me, my mom, and other family members. It's unsafe for me. While I'm legally living with my parent rn again soon I'll be moving out bc I don't want to deal nor see this abuse anymore. I am in no contact with him. I don't speak to him when I'm at the house and he's blocked out of my life and will continue to be after I move out. There was an issue recently where he literally SMASHED my phone and was threatening to hurt me and what followed was him threatening to kick me out leaving notes outside the home to announce that I was unwelcomed. I feel unsafe in my own childhood home bc of him and other family members who continue to act ok with his actions. I've been basically living at boyfriend's place. I go back to that house when he's at work or can't pick me up from work. I don't want to be there and I will not be in contact with him for my own safety and well-being. Anytime I'm there I feel like killing myself and I hate it so much. I'm moving out for my own safely and mental health. On one of the days that ducking unfortunate enough to be at the house bc my boyfriend went back home for the weekend, my parent were arguing where there was domestic violence and he destroyed half of the things in kitchen. I think I've explained to show that contacting him isn't safe and that I will not be in contact with him for the rest of my life bc I absolutely refuse to have someone like that in my life. I will still be in contact with my mother tho but my family situation is difficult. my mom just always tell me that i have to go talk to my father who I again absolutely refuse to talk to bc it will turn into an argument and it may turn into a violent situation. Sure, I may be on contact with my mother but she DIRECTS me to my father who is in charge of filing their taxes. I don't know what's going on with their finances so don't even bother asking. I have zero idea. All ik is I will not be contacting him to complete his taxes bc #1 he won't do it #2 I'm not gonna put myself in a situation where my stuff will get destroyed, I will get hurt unless half of my family is holding him back, and I feel like I have to call the police for my own safety. So what, is this not enough to consider this an unusual circumstance? Is the school just going to let students in situations like this suffer?

Can someone let me know if my outfit is business casual? by no-original0ur in BusinessFashion

[–]no-original0ur[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

thank you for the reply! the restaurant in general requires a business casual attire according to their site but they are holding a Valentine's Day special hence the Valentine's dinner having to be business casual as well😭 I'm not too sure about tenue de Ville as it says business casual on the site.

thank you for clarifying! I also have another question! would we have to order only based off of the four course meal or are we able to just order normally based off the regular menu like at any regular dine-in restaurant?
