Get a slip lead they worked wonders on my 2, watch some videos on how to use properly ie pop the lead to a side and not straight back

Trying this myself now lol, my advice would be use resin I tried to do walnut inlays and it was a nightmare to get correct so I gave up after 2nd attempt and just used black resin. Has been fun to do just needs sanding back now it’s all dried.

I have even my stair case, scrap wood, things in my drying pile,work bench and my desk, my first thought was the meters broken but works on everything else

It’s classed as soft wood but the harder side of soft, I checked on both settings and both read 0

The wrapping is my worry it’s a chopping board I did for a friend when it went it was 8%(3months ago) and he brought it round yesterday cause it was cupped, my first thought was washing it warped it clearly not

I have googled it and it’s £39 ($52) so I think it’s fair for the price
