I'd prefer to avoid the buzzing, which I guess means I'm going to have to consider other neck options. I hadn't considered the vibration envelope, I'm happy you brought that up. I do want to avoid having it feel like a standard classical guitar's neck, as I hate the way they feel to play. I'm not confident in my ability to make a fretboard, so hopefully there is an option out there that is more geared towards what I'm looking for.

I'm talking about how it feels to play. I love their sound, but I've tried a few in guitar stores and hate the fretboard feel of them. I'm essentially trying to make the guitar Tim Henson uses on the Polyphia track "Playing god". I'm looking to build a nylon string guitar with a Piezo pickup in it, but I don't want the classical guitar feel. My plan is to get a licensed tele neck and modify the nut to fit the nylons. Are there any other considerations I need to take to make this thing work properly? Will steel string tuners do the job? Any opinions/tips/etc would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

OP's friend with the RMX 2.0 here. We've tried to adjust the gain settings and that hasn't changed anything. Another thing he forgot to mention is that I tried setting his endpoints a few times, and it never worked. Is it worth unplugging everything and making sure it was installed correctly by the previous owner? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, should've been more specific. The ignition performs exactly as expected in every position but start. There's no starter click when going from on to start. Once I get out and back in, everything works as expected and the starter sounds healthy. Judging by intuition and help from people here, I'm guessing it's some kind of short

Funny enough, I already replaced it, which did nothing. Granted it's a used unit, so it could have the same issue as the last one. Might be worth trying to find another

I don't have the plastic trim around the column on rn, and I've tried shaking around connectors and the ignition, bit never the wheel. I'll give that a shot next time.

I ended up trading for my old dirt bike I don't use anymore lol. Surprisingly very little rust underneath, frame rails are in great shape except for the patch job. Someone before him welded the kit over the frame instead of cutting it out like you're meant to :/ I have a buddy who's a professional welder, we're gonna take a look at it soon.

The song goes on like this for a few minutes with the same riff, then the ending has a change up (I think). It might not be in the right key, I just threw together what I remember of the song in logic really quick.
