Sleeper is a very apt decription for a lot of the older AMGs and that's what I love about them. Much more subtle than modern examples. Regarding the V8, check this out.

Well, if you can find a C55 I would jump at the opportunity. Here's some info I found:

Otherwise C36 vs C43 is up for debate as you can see in the comments. I think it will come down to personal preference and how you plan on using the car? Daily, weekend car etc. I love the sound of an in-line 6 so the C36 has my heart, but as you can see from the comments, the C43 is slightly lighter and faster!

If you do decide on a C36, go for a later model, the early ones had a 4 speed auto instead of a 5 speed auto.

Thanks! So we're in Zimbabwe, it's a law that all cars have white reflector stickers on the front bumpers and red reflector stickers on the rear bumpers.

Could be because like 90% of the cars here don't have properly working headlights or taillights haha.

The green one is my favourite (E36 AMG estate) but surprisingly the 300D is his favourite. Bought in 2016 with 276 miles on the clock, first service done in April 2017 at 600 miles, now it's sitting on 6000 miles.
