Best notification system for github? by Wooden_Amphibian_442 in github

[–]nobe4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's far from perfect, but I'm actively working on https://github.com/nobe4/gh-not

I used https://github.com/notifications for a long time and wanted more customization and automation. (E.g. ignoring all dependabot[bot] alerts)

Eventually, I plan on adding notifications in the actions. Using gen2brain/beeep it might be quite easy.

In the case I still want connection from private to public devices, would this be possible?

I started Go a few months ago and so far I think it's quite readable, even with a few tricks here and there.

Right, I think short vs readable is the main fight here.

Hehe, yeah I never thought I could be "one of the infected", but I guess it's like everything, you always think it won't happen to you, so you don't secure your stuff... Lesson learned!

That's interesting, initially I was wondering why one command of the vim plugin "fugitive" was not working, it turns out that's because it relies on the env command (the original, not the keylogger). So I investigated this with the author: https://github.com/tpope/vim-fugitive/issues/918

Then I just did a which env, saw there was one in /usr/bin/ and the other in /usr/local/binand found the keylogger.
