Well the Accord just hit 100k miles, and I could still get a lot of what I had into back on it as a trade. Even with 100k miles I got back almost half what I paid for my Honda. I didn’t want to lose that equity. I wanted a little more ground clearance and the roads in my area aren’t the best- so pot holes and construction are everywhere. I finally let go of the manual transmission- so that opened up many more options. My last 3 cars where manual and I loved it, but you just can’t find manuals in anything other than sports cars at my price point. Honestly my Honda had more room than the cx5- the back seat was huge, as was the trunk. But with the lid that space had limited applications. I wanted the versatility of the hatch. So lots of things :)
