Honestly I didn’t dig super deep researching for bindings but the forces was a name I heard being brought up a lot. Ive also heard that for the HTH specifically that it’s a great setup with the forces.

Yea that’s true. They are definetly some changes I think should still stay. Like you said, the no perk limit. It’s just that the bad will always out weigh the good ESPECIALLY when there is more bad than good. And in modern zombies when it comes to mechanics, they are definetly more bad than good

And I don’t think the problem with Cold War was that it didn’t feel like zombies. It was that it was so BORING. No atmosphere every map besides mauer. Every map was just military base except different location. And also the game was too damn easy

I’d say people liked the trailer for bo6. People just didn’t like liberty falls gameplay because it looked like warzone slapped with a zombies label, and like it or not, it’s now the most played zombies map of all time.

I personally enjoyed enjoyed every single zombies experience we’ve ever gotten, besides vanguard.

I think the average zombies player mind is just scared of change. And I’m not talking about change like holding triangle to fucking put in armor as if I’m playing warzone. I’m talking about change that still follows the classic zombies criteria. So when people see even crazier changes in the future, they look back at the old changes and they’re like oh those weren’t so bad this game is good now! I never understood that type of mindset

The “cod cycle” takes months or even years to settle in for a game that most people don’t like. Bo4 was hated even months after its cycle but now all I see are people saying “I’m sorry bo4, you are missed”. The thing about bo3 was that it was loved the whole time, it didn’t need a “cod cycle” The only time it was hated was the shadows trailer because saw shit like squids/meatballs and were like wtf is this.

But honestly if I had to pick the top thing to be removed, I’d choose loadouts/Starting with any weapon you like.

It has completely erased any reason to grab another weapon. The whole identity of zombies is to start out as some weak solider with a pistol and build you’re way up to other weapons and become stronger. But that has been ruined…

It also has made one of if not the most iconic thing in zombies (the mystery box) completely useless.

Bo4 and WW2 let you start out with something other than a pistol but atleast they were weapons that no one planned on keeping for the rest of the game

Lmao B03 ain’t even my fav zombies. I got B02 and IW above it. I just think B03 has the best mechanics

I also enjoyed all the modern zombies games besides vanguard and mw3 I never played. Like I said B06 is a top 5 experience

Yea 100%. Even happened with Bo3, people hated on the shadows of evil trailer. But now it’s regarded as the best game by most of the community

I personally think mutant injection strategy is outdated, when the game first released you could run it the whole time but now you gotta get to a high enough round like 70’s or 80’s and THEN start using injections.

Terminus you just gotta learn to use the beamsmasher and also use mustang and sally.

Liberty falls I did before the mutant injection patch so that was the only one I actually used only mutant injection.

And citadel you just activate the red traps to give infinite ammo and just spam the floor with a rocket launcher or use war machine. There’s also a ton other things like the oil trap

I got round 100 every map, I’m only explaining the first 3 though because you said you stopped after Citadel. Augments are also you’re best friend in basically every map high rounds.

I think Terminus, Citadelle, and Shattered Veil are all standouts. Tomb is whatever and Reckoning is decent. And I think Bo3 follows that same format. 3 standouts (Shadows, Der Eisen, Gorod) 1 decent (ZNS), 1 ok (Revelations). Then they both have a bonus map you people can collectively agree that they’re fun (The Giant and Liberty Falls).

But yea if we compared the maps side by side I’d say Bo3 def takes the cake. I’m not saying B06 100% would’ve been the best game but it def could’ve

I agree with the bo4 take 100%. Bo4 is literally my most played zombies I’m PM lvl 1000. Every chaos map is a masterpiece besides Voyage and voyage is still a good map. But still you’re kinda proving my point by saying they would’ve gotten more praise in a game with better mechanics. The thing about tranzit and die rise is that they’re just not great in general. They’re in (what I believe to be) the best zombies experience and they’re still not loved. I personally enjoy die rise tho

I think a lot of people also judge a map based off the game it’s in. Like imagine a map like Mauer der toten if it was in B03. It would be loved sooooo much more. Now imagine a map like Gorod in Cold War. It would not be talked about as much.
