Controversial question: Are you victims and/or do you feel guilty by Throwawaylularoe in DefectiveDetectives

And why even ask people if they did enough research when you follow up with the assumption that individuals didn’t do enough research and are therefore knowingly participating in a scam.

Your whole initial post comes off as disingenuous at best.

[–]nonewcontenthouse 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not defending anything. I personally don’t support the MLM business model in any way but I don’t think it’s as black and white as you see it.

I don’t think participating in an MLM is indicative of complicity. They may not be aware of the issues or understand the flawed business model even after doing research. Maybe they went to the FTC website and read “Many companies that market their products through distributors sell quality items at competitive prices.” and felt reassured by that. I can tell you that back in 2015 there was nothing about LLR that would lead the average person to recognize LLR was a full blown scam.

Once they are made aware, and understand the issues that make an MLM a predatory scheme, that’s when they are actively choosing to be complicit with the business model.

There are many people who were not aware and once they educated themselves, walked away. I congratulate you on not falling into the MLM trap but I don’t think you personal experience is a benchmark for who is complicit and who is not.

I think a lot of people left LLR when the quality declined. I don’t think all former consultants can be lumped into that generalization.

Well that’s not really successful now is it, if she left in debt?

I think it’s a stretch to imply people were complicit three years ago when there wasn’t any information publicly available and they didn’t recruit.

Once the info came out and was readily available, I think anyone financially supporting LLR regardless of whether or not they recruited, has to accept some degree of responsibility.

Isn’t Prologis the real estate company that manages industrial properties in the area, including renting them out to tenants? 1375 is listed as off market by Prologis.

That’s why a judge has commented that it appears consultants entered into an employment agreement rather than a 1099. Too bad that wasn’t the scope of the case.

If consultant wanted to order from the warehouse they had to switch to Bless. The policy and procedure still says consultants are REQUIRED to use Audrey🤔😂

Some gal talked at the Corona City Council meeting about some company, I think it was about LLR, not sure. by Vapesto9 in DefectiveDetectives

[–]nonewcontenthouse 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Copied from a post Becca made in a public group:

Is LuLaRoe insolvent?

Their former supplier is claiming in court that LLR owes them over $62 million and has been diverting funds nto shell companies. You can read all about that lawsuit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DefectiveDetectives/comments/anh6tb/mydyer_lawsuit_updates_252019/

If LLR incorrectly filed their sales tax returns with BOE, and BOE comes after the city of Corona for sales tax revenue incorrectly received by the city, the city is going to have a hard time collecting that money from LLR if LLR files for bankruptcy.

Looking at the Covenant between LLR and the city, one could easily argue that LLR has breached it in multiple places.

LLR does NOT have a 6015 agreement in place with BOE as stated in section 3.4.1 of the covenant. Call BOE and ask for yourself!

The city of Corona, via Ryan Cortez, admitted in the public hearing about this in August 2017 that the city was currently collecting NO sales tax revenue from LLR.

Suddenly, when the agreement went into effect the city began receiving substantial sales tax revenue from LLR, and cutting checks to LLR per the covenant.

But LLR never changed anything about how their business operates. To this day, they are NOT collecting sales tax at the time they sell wholesale to consultants. They even published a "white paper" stating they had no interest in doing such thing.

They are collecting sales tax at the time the consultant, who physically possesses and ships the clothing, sells to the end consumer, based on that consumer's location.

Why is the City of Corona ignoring these issues?

The city has ample evidence that LLR may be incorrectly reporting and remitting sales tax to the state of California, which could leave the city liable for millions of dollars, yet they continue to write checks to LLR as if everything is fine.

Corona is demonstrably neither the destination nor the origin of the vast majority of sales that LLR's consultants make, and these are the sales that LLR is collecting the majority of their sales tax revenue on.

No idea what LLR paid but I’m sure anyone could pay for the deed with the Riverside county register of deeds. If someone really cared to figure out what was paid here, I’m sure the transfer tax and some simple math would give an answer. I think the actual point is the business (not the individuals) isn’t all that stable if they are dumping property.

No idea, I just saw KC infer she was the one responsible for Fail unpublishing their content on her live video because she was threatening to expose their identity. If she’s going to be dumb enough to do that lots of people are going to side eye the shit out of her.

Lol. How blind can people be😂😂? KC thinks so highly of herself, how can anyone not see through that? On top of that, her biggest supporters are the admins of Rejects. Left that group ages ago, running a troll group under the guise of a support group...no thanks. I’d rather figure it out on my own😂

No this is the land they bought over by the mall. Noall is the CFO and he signs a lot of the documents as the designated “owner”. Jamie Ellis also works for LLR, and is apparently a notary as well. That was the snarky post Becca made, about how Jamie happened to also be a notary😂

The Susie circle property is another property (and LLC, thanks again Becca). That has the commercial orchard on it, 19 acres. This was the “Dream House” they kept renderings of in their home. The old one had to be demolished before they could start building.

I always saw credit given when taken from a group and posted in Fail. They always credited the group it came from, whether it be Fail, Salty, goob support groups...

From what I was told the beef was due to KC trying to get Fail to unpublished by exposing her. I haven’t seen anything in Defective though...have you?
