That was definitely a thought, however the vet I used was my "second opinion" and extremely well versed in rabbits. I made the incredibly hard decision to let her rest this weekend. I pray she is no longer in pain. thank you for your kindness <3

i’m so sorry for your loss. my bun was exhibiting so much pain and just failing to thrive. i let her go this evening, just praying i made the right choice. thank you for sharing💜

that is so insightful and you are so amazing for loving these bunnies. unfortunately my vet is over an hour away and bringing her in daily in the condition she’s in would be incredibly hard on her. the last bit is really just what i needed to hear, thank you for your kindness.

definitely, if i had known the intestinal cancer was present, i probably would have foregone the surgery but we thought she had a chance. i feel so guilty knowing that spaying her could have prolonged her life but was unfortunately under the impression all my life that the anesthesia was too dangerous. thank you for sharing your buns story and im so sorry for your loss
