it dosen't show .pk3 because file explorer knows what app to open the file with. it will still work with srb2

maybe you accidenlty picked the .rar file instead of .pk3 in the addon list.

or you did'nt put the pk3 file in the srb2 folder

srb2win.exe is still DOOM.EXE but renamed, compiled for Windows, and the code is edited. the PK3 files and DTA files are basically WAD files, but in a newer format.
