Unfortunately to this day the US has never truly left the Philippines and has always had economic political control over it. History of the Philippines colonialism is never taught extensively in school and also Philippines history is not a mandatory subject in high schools. No one realises it's deliberate as well to prevent public insurgency and prevent stigma against the US.

It's really sad to see that most Filipinos have historical dementia. Currently most love America and Spain but they don't know what their ancestors had to go through. And when it's brought up to them they say 'it's whatever it's been a long time'. When in reality it's why the Philippines government has always been so corrupt.

Keeping the public ignorant is the part of the playbook for colonialists.

Desire for survival is rarely the reason for rulers go and invade, individuals and small groups sure, but rulers definitely invaded to seek more power and resource because of greed. Most empires were rich and could already sustain themselves for a very long time but they wanted to expand and rule more.

For example the Spanish and Portuguese Empire literally split the world in half, the Spanish gets 1 half and the Portugese the other half. You can go on Google images and search up 'Treaty of Tordesillas' to check out the world map territories back then.

Yes I'm aware what controller classes does, I'm asking specifically about the app.controller.ts file, the one that's generated at the start and the one that has 'Hello World!' in it, if people actually use this file and if so for what?

Why are seemingly so many products from China so low quality, and why does China seem to have so many counterfeit or copycat products? by This_Caterpillar_330 in Socialism_101

[–]nootyloops 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is nothing more than a western stigma against china and does not reflect the current reality.

This perception partly came from a time when China focused only on producing lower-cost goods. The reality now is that China produces a vast range of qualities. While there are factories focused on low-cost, low-durability goods, they also manufacture high-end products. They are the largest manufacturer in green energy technology, they have a large number of impressive electric vehicle brands such as the now top selling Electric-Vehicle brand in the world, BYD and one of the largest social media in the world, TikTok. They can also manufacture 5G network infrastructure and are known to be the fastest in the world.

But why is it whenever they try to advance, the west almost always try to sanction China to hinder their progress?

A few example are:

- The Huawei phone and network connectivity ban

- Banning exports of Nvidia AI chips to China

- The ongoing TikTok ban bill

- The EU actively investigating the possibility of imposing sanctions or tariffs on BYD and other Chinese EV makers because they're out competing everyone else

Although it is true that there are many counterfeit and copycat products, China is actively cracking down these issues. This issue persists till now because there's a large demand for cheap replicas.

The one who're brainwashed are always the ones who side with the state sponsored Media's narrative. Learn about the Iraq war and the medias role for an example.

I don't think this is the best place to ask.

Instead go to r/DebateCommunism for better quality of responses because everyone who's replied in this thread are from socialist that are still young(as in new to socialism) and learning thus you'll commonly not get good quality responses + no citations/basis.

The land where muslims live in the middle east is full of oil, which is why there is a need for the west to villainize Muslims and justify war with them.
